And those who are following the exploits of our great scientists and technicians from all over the world already know that just less than a month ago, physicists from the University of Zurich have discovered a previously unknown particle composed of three quarks in the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) particle accelerator. I wonder what other particles are hiding behind these particles that was just discovered, and what other particles are hiding behind the particles that are yet to be discovered. What would be the implications of these discoveries to Earth’s population at large? Will there be a paradigm shift? Will it change the way we look at ourselves and the way we treat our neighbor?
